Our Founder
My name is Kim, and social media is like, my favorite thing EVER. But I haven’t always done this professionally. Here’s my story…
Like many of you, I worked in corporate for many many years – unsatisfied and unfulfilled. I knew I wanted to do something more creative, purposeful and aligned with my personality, but wasn’t quite sure what that was. Argh, such is life, right? One day, after careful planning and saving, I decided to take a calculated risk—quit my job, and relocate to NYC in hopes that I would find my creative niche.
And that I did.
After a couple of internships (at the ripe age of 33 – crazy right?) l I fell into social media and it was love at first sight! I never realized what amazing career opportunities were available in the field. You mean I can actually make a living building relationships and helping companies build their brands on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram? Sign me up!
After working a couple of years in the social media space and implementing strategies for major retailers and celebrities, I quickly became the “go to” social media expert among friends and family —most of whom were entrepreneurs much like yourselves. Therefore, I quickly realized how much help businesses need regarding their social media. This led me to start my first business, KBush Collective, where I would help other entrepreneurs build and personify their brands, increase their online presence, and grow their communities!
